Today (Saturday) in Wetherby was the first Alpaca Manager software presentation. The local organiser (Jacki) was the only existing user so everyone else there is a potential new customer. There were about a dozen or so present (some couples).
Everything went as planned with the promised projector and screen provided and everything connected and worked fine. This is always a problem with presentations.
I don't think I blinded them with science too much but there were a few glazed looks after 2 hours. I did manage to cover everything I needed to. One person had tried another competing product but couldn't get it to install/run. The developer was none too helpful so I think I have a definite sale there. As I pointed out to her, there are often problems with this sort of thing but I always help people get it sorted.
We finished up at 12:30 leaving them to their regular meeting which was a demonstration on sorting alpaca fleeces.
The next presentation is in two weeks time. In the meantime, I have had one sale and one potential sale from Australia; life goes on as normal even though we are on the other side of the world!
